Joan Findlow - Underwriting Assistant
Joan started her career in the city as a secretary in a merchant bank, where she progressed to PA to the Director of the Private Client’s Investment Department. After 7 years Joan took a career break to have her children, returning to the city as PA to 2 directors at David Holman & Co Ltd., a Member’s Agency. David Holman & Co Ltd merged with Castle Underwriting, Marlborough Underwriting, and R. F Kershaw to form Greenwich Underwriting Ltd, which was purchased by Imagine. Joan joined Abacus in 2004, and after a short time transferred to Syndicate 2526 as underwriting assistant.
